Ape Labs BAT-MAXI Description

The Ape Labs BAT-MAXI replacement battery pack provides a practical way to restore the battery-powered operation of Ape Labs Maxi v1 and Maxi 2.0 uplights. As rechargeable batteries age, their capacity can gradually decline, reducing the amount of time a fixture operates between charges. Replacing the original pack helps extend the useful life of compatible uplights without requiring replacement of the entire lighting fixture.

The battery pack features 10 XCell 4500mAh nickel-metal hydride cells configured for a 12V output. Its JST PHR-2P connector is designed for the specified compatible fixtures. This configuration makes the battery suitable for maintaining Maxi uplights used in wireless lighting setups for weddings, corporate events, mobile DJ performances, stage productions, and architectural accent lighting.

With compatible Maxi fixtures rated for more than 14 hours of operation at full power with all colors, the BAT-MAXI supports extended cordless lighting applications. Actual runtime can vary depending on battery condition, fixture settings, and operating conditions. The replacement pack allows lighting professionals to maintain a portable setup without relying on continuous external power connections during an event.

For proper initial operation, the replacement battery requires a calibration procedure when first installed. Fully charge the battery and fixture, set the light to static white at full brightness, allow the fixture to discharge completely, and then recharge it fully. The BAT-MAXI is also specified as CE and RoHS compliant.
