MusikMode: 1-Button Light Show
Ape Labs MusikMode allows compatible Ape Labs fixtures to automatically work together and create a coordinated light show that responds to music. Instead of relying on a basic sound-active sequence, MusikMode distributes complementary lighting behavior across connected fixtures to produce a more varied and synchronized presentation without requiring DMX programming.
DMX-Like Control via Grouping
The Marvel Pix Wash INS can be assigned to one of four groups for simplified control through a compatible Ape Labs remote or the Ape Labs smartphone app. Each group can be adjusted independently for color, brightness, programs, speed, strobe settings, and other parameters, while multiple groups can also be controlled together.
The iOS and Android app adds scene creation, cloud-based storage of personal fixture settings, and access to software updates. Ape Labs CONNECT is required for smartphone app control and is sold separately.

Ape Labs Marvel Pix Wash INS Description
The Ape Labs Marvel Pix Wash INS provides the ultra-wide coverage and pixel control of the battery-powered Marvel Pix Wash in a mains-powered configuration without an internal battery. It is intended for permanent installations, extended productions, touring stages, and event applications where continuous AC power is available and battery operation is unnecessary.
Each of the fixture’s nine individually addressable 18W LEDs combines Red, Green, Blue, Lime, 2700K Warm White, and 6000K Cool White emitters. This six-color system delivers vivid saturated tones, balanced pastel shades, and clean tunable white output with a CRI of 90. Factory-installed 150° optics spread the output across an extremely wide area, producing a smooth, homogeneous wash for cycs, scenery, stage backgrounds, ceilings, and dance floors.
Five selectable DMX modes support applications ranging from straightforward whole-fixture color control to complete nine-pixel programming. Users can choose 6-channel 8-bit control, 12-channel 16-bit control, a 7-channel Ape Labs mode, a 36-channel RGBWW pixel mode, or a 54-channel RGBWW-NW-L pixel mode.
Control options include CRMX wireless DMX, Ape Labs CONNECT wireless DMX, the Ape Labs smartphone app, and an optional Ape Labs remote. Each fixture also functions as an automatic wireless signal repeater, helping extend communication throughout large venues, production spaces, and outdoor event sites.
The IP65-rated enclosure is constructed from aluminum with an acrylic-glass front for dependable indoor and outdoor use. Passive, fanless cooling provides silent operation, while DUAL-DRIVE technology delivers flicker-free LED control without conventional PWM. A continuously rotating bracket, locking fold-out feet, M6 safety point, motion sensor, and audible theft alarm make the fixture suitable for floor placement, truss mounting, and fixed installations.
