Ape Labs Maxi 2+ TourBox Grey Description
The Ape Labs Maxi 2+ TourBox Grey package provides 12 professional battery-powered uplights divided between two complete six-fixture TourBoxes. This large-format package gives event professionals the flexibility to illuminate ballrooms, wedding venues, stages, tents, dance floors, architectural features, and other spaces while keeping all fixtures organized for transport and charging.
Each Maxi 2+ features three 15W RGBaW LED sources for 45 watts of total LED power. Ape Labs AmberWhite technology adds a dedicated warm 2700K output to the RGB color system for warm whites, rich colors, and event-ready lighting. Each fixture produces up to 1,635 lumens of total lamp luminous flux and can reach single-color illuminance levels as high as 12,370 lux at 1 meter when equipped with the optional 10° optic.
The Maxi 2+ comes standard with 15° optics, while optional 10°, 25°, and 45° optics allow the beam to be tailored for narrow architectural accents or wider wall washing. Its rechargeable 54 Wh Ni-MH battery provides up to 14 hours of operation with all colors at full power. An IP65 rating, scratch-resistant housing, acrylic glass surface, and solid-state fanless design make the fixture suitable for demanding professional environments while maintaining silent operation.
Ape Labs' wireless ecosystem makes sophisticated lighting control accessible without requiring extensive programming. The included ApeRemote controllers provide convenient wireless access to colors, brightness, programs, speed, strobe functions, grouping, and MusikMode. Compatible Ape Labs Connect hardware can add smartphone app control and wireless DMX functionality for expanded programming options.
The Anthracite Gray finish provides a discreet professional appearance that blends well into stages, DJ setups, corporate events, and darker event environments. Each fixture can operate free-standing or with its included mounting bracket, while the two included charging cases keep all 12 fixtures organized and provide a convenient way to recharge the systems between events.
