The ART Vinyl Mix combines phono preamplification, wireless audio reception, and stereo source switching in a compact desktop unit. Its four selectable inputs make it easy to integrate a turntable with other audio sources, including RCA line-level equipment, portable devices connected through the 1/8-inch Aux input, and compatible Bluetooth devices. For vinyl playback, the built-in moving magnet phono preamp uses a hybrid passive RIAA correction circuit to reproduce records with the appropriate frequency response. Burr-Brown operational amplifiers support accurate analog signal processing, while a 32-bit Burr-Brown DAC handles digital-to-analog conversion for Bluetooth audio.
