Carvin Audio TRC400A Description

The Carvin Audio TRC400A expands the TRC modular platform with greater output capability and extended projection. The system includes two TRx3118A 2000W powered subwoofers and two pairs of TRx3900F passive column arrays, creating a scalable solution capable of reaching 131dB maximum SPL while maintaining clarity and controlled dispersion.

Each TRx3118A subwoofer features an 18” high-excursion TS18C woofer with a 4” voice coil and integrated Class D amplification (1000W internal sub + 1000W HF satellite output). Built-in Analog Devices™ 56-bit DSP provides optimized presets for Live, Playback, Speech, and Sub Only modes. The 37Hz–200Hz response ensures deep, controlled bass for full-scale live performance and high-energy events.

The TRx3900F column arrays utilize nine 3.5” transducers per column with 120° horizontal coverage and controlled 10° vertical dispersion. This focused vertical pattern minimizes reflections and feedback while maintaining intelligibility across large audience areas. When ground stacked, the dual-column configuration creates an extended acoustic aperture capable of projecting well over 400 feet, depending on environmental conditions.

Constructed from premium multi-ply hardwood and finished in DuraTec™ polyurethane coating, the system is built for touring durability and moisture resistance. The included CB3900L carrying bags provide padded protection for the column arrays during transport, ensuring long-term reliability and professional presentation.
