Denon DJ PRIME 4 G2 Description
The Denon DJ PRIME 4 G2 expands the standalone DJ workflow with performance tools designed for mobile DJs, private events, clubs, bars, festival stages, and content creation. Its 8-core processor and 4 GB of RAM handle four-deck standalone playback, fast library navigation, onboard Stems rendering, effects, lighting control, and other Engine DJ functions directly from the hardware.
Performance control centers around two full-size 8-inch jog wheels and 16 MPCe pads with velocity, pressure, and 3D-sensing technology. The expressive pads can combine multiple parameters and functions within a single pad, opening up new ways to perform with Hot Cues, loops, Stems, effects, and Engine Lighting. Dedicated Instrumental and Acapella buttons provide immediate Stems control, while Stem Level EQ and Stem FX allow individual musical elements to be shaped directly during a performance.
The expanded effects system includes 26 BPM-synchronized Main FX, 10 Touch FX, Fader FX, and four Sweep FX for creating transitions, buildups, drops, and more experimental performance techniques. Dedicated FX paddles and Favorite FX controls provide fast hardware access, while the large 10.1-inch touchscreen offers additional visual control of effects, waveforms, music libraries, mixer settings, lighting, and system functions.
Professional connectivity makes the PRIME 4 G2 particularly capable for event and venue applications. Balanced XLR Main, Booth, and Zone outputs can operate simultaneously, while dual microphone inputs, Line/Phono inputs, Bluetooth audio, multiple USB connections, an SD card slot, and an internal SATA drive bay support a wide variety of media and external sources. A dedicated DMX output brings SoundSwitch-powered Engine Lighting directly into the system, allowing synchronized control of compatible lighting without requiring a separate DMX interface for the first universe.
