The DPA 4099-DC-2-199-T 4099 Instrument Microphone Kit is an ideal solution for capturing brass instruments in demanding live and studio environments. Whether used on trumpet, trombone, or similar brass instruments, the 4099T provides a clean, natural, and highly isolated sound with excellent gain-before-feedback.

Its supercardioid pickup pattern helps focus on the instrument while rejecting unwanted sound from the sides and rear. The microphone is built to handle very high SPL levels, making it well suited for loud brass performances without distortion.

The included brass clip is designed for quick, one-hand mounting and can be moved easily between instruments. A flexible gooseneck allows accurate mic placement, while the detachable MicroDot cable and included XLR adapter make the system versatile for both wired and wireless workflows.
