Dynacord U240:1M Description
The Dynacord U240:1M combines a compact mixer section with a 240W Class D amplifier for commercial audio systems that need reliable background music and voice announcement capability. Its four-input design includes two mic/line inputs with switchable 48V phantom power, plus two stereo RCA line inputs summed to mono.
Priority and paging features make the U240:1M well suited for installed communication systems. Input 1 supports contact override with chime, Input 2 offers VOX ducking with adjustable threshold and ducking depth, and the EMG input helps ensure emergency or priority messages are heard clearly.
Output flexibility allows the amplifier to drive low-impedance 4-ohm or 8-ohm speaker loads, as well as 70V or 100V distributed systems. Switchable filtering, bass and treble EQ, status LEDs, and protection circuitry help simplify setup while supporting dependable daily operation.
The half-rack chassis saves space in tight installations and can be used stand-alone, table-top, under-table, half-rack, full rack, or side-by-side with another unit in a single rack space using the included mounting accessories.
