Dynacord VZX-8 Description

The Dynacord VZX-8 is built for installers and system designers who need a flexible processor for multi-zone audio systems. It supports 20 processed input sources and 8 processed zone outputs, making it suitable for venues such as hospitality spaces, retail environments, schools, houses of worship, corporate facilities, and entertainment spaces.

Its Full Matrix DSP provides detailed control over inputs and outputs, including input EQ, compression, AGC, noise gate, effects, room EQ, and speaker EQ with FIR processing. The Virtual Mixer with Automixer functionality and effects can be used for live mixing on any zone, allowing the VZX-8 to handle both everyday background music and more active presentation or event needs.

The included 32 GB MicroSD card can store music, messages, and configuration files, helping support playback, announcements, and system setup. Compatibility with SONICUE speaker databases for Electro-Voice and supported third-party loudspeakers gives installers access to speaker presets that help maximize system performance quickly.

For system expansion and user control, the VZX-8 includes two RJ45 accessory ports that support cable lengths up to 1640 feet per port and allow up to 16 total devices. Add VCS-8 call stations and VWP wall panel controllers to provide zone paging, level control, source selection, and media playback control throughout the installation.
