Electro-Voice EVID-P6.2B Description

The Electro-Voice EVID-P6.2B is a complete two-way pendant speaker system built around a 6.5-inch weatherized low-frequency driver and a 1-inch titanium dome tweeter. Its 115° conical coverage pattern helps deliver broad, even sound dispersion for background music, paging, and foreground audio in open-ceiling spaces.

The internal transformer provides selectable taps for 70V and 100V distributed audio systems, plus 8-ohm bypass for low-impedance amplifier setups. Tap selection is located on the front baffle and can be accessed quickly by removing the magnetic grille.

For reliability, the speaker uses full-bandwidth overload protection with a comprehensive protection circuit for the crossover, woofer, and tweeter. The ported, internally damped cabinet supports wide-range audio reproduction, while the UL94V-0 rated ABS enclosure and powder-coated steel grille provide durable installed performance.
