Electro-Voice EVID-S8.2TB Description

The Electro-Voice EVID-S8.2TB delivers full-range performance from an 8-inch long-throw woofer and 1-inch high-frequency transducer. Its 90° x 90° coverage pattern helps provide wide, uniform sound across commercial spaces for distributed audio, background music, paging, and sound reinforcement.

The built-in 60W transformer allows operation on 70V and 100V constant-voltage systems, with selectable taps of 7.5W on 70V only, plus 15W, 30W, and 60W. An 8-ohm bypass is also available for low-impedance amplifier systems, with tap selection handled from the rear input panel.

Engineered for both indoor and outdoor use, the EVID-S8.2TB features an IP54-rated weatherized design that helps resist sun, salt, and moisture. Its fire-rated ABS plastic enclosure, compact cabinet shape, and included mounting system make installation quick, clean, and reliable.
