Electro-Voice TX2181 Description

The Electro-Voice TX2181 is designed as a high-power low-frequency extension for professional sound reinforcement systems, including systems built around the TX2152. Its two 18-inch EVS-18S transducers deliver the cone area and excursion required for strong bass reproduction in live music, DJ, club, venue, and production applications.

The TX2181 provides a frequency response of 50 Hz to 160 Hz at -3dB and an extended frequency range of 40 Hz to 1.5 kHz at -10dB. Electro-Voice recommends a low-pass frequency between 80 Hz and 120 Hz, allowing the subwoofer to integrate effectively with compatible full-range loudspeakers when used with appropriate system processing.
