Midas MDSP-PROFADER200MM faders are the result of a multi-disciplinary engineering effort that combines mechanical design, electronic optimization, and rigorous material testing. Developed specifically for the demands of digital mixing, these faders offer a smooth, consistent tactile response and precise linearity, ideal for servo-controlled automation. Unlike generic components, these faders are designed by a console manufacturer with a deep understanding of real-world audio workflow. The resistive track is highly linear, ensuring reliable performance across the entire 100mm travel. Semi-precious metals are used in the wiper fingers for enhanced wear resistance, and the touch-sensitive conductive T-Bar allows for software-triggered automation, including auto channel select and motor disengagement while held. With a 10 kΩ linear law, these faders are compatible with most digital mixing systems and can serve as drop-in replacements for standard models such as the Penny+Giles PGFM3200 and Alps K-Fader. The included 200mm cable supports full connection to the motor, touch, and resistive elements. Each unit mounts easily via dual M3 threaded pillars with 120mm mounting centers, making the MDSP-PROFADER200MM both reliable and installation-friendly for service techs and system integrators.
