Midas MDSP-PROFADER550MM faders are developed from the ground up with an operator-first design approach, drawing on Midas' extensive experience in digital console manufacturing. These faders feature a highly linear 10 kΩ resistive track, paired with a smooth-touch conductive T-Bar and integrated touch sensing, enabling advanced automation, channel selection, and precise servo motor control. Engineered for performance and longevity, each unit is rated for up to one million use cycles, tripling the lifespan of traditional fader components. The fader’s mechanical design includes semi-precious metal wiper fingers for superior wear resistance, and a Mabuchi motor ensures consistent motion control across all mixing environments. Intended for the input/output bays of Midas PRO Series consoles—especially center bays—the 550mm cable provides flexible, integrated connection to the console’s control hardware. These faders are also a reliable drop-in replacement for industry standards like the Penny+Giles PGFM3200 and Alps K-Fader.
