Native Instruments Traktor Z1 MK2 Description
The Native Instruments Traktor Z1 MK2 provides the essential tactile controls of a traditional DJ mixer in a compact format built around Traktor Pro 4. Each channel includes gain, 3-band EQ, filter, cue, and level controls, while a central crossfader provides familiar hands-on mixing. Precision knobs, faders, backlit buttons, and level metering make it easy to perform without relying entirely on a computer screen.
Three integrated OLED displays provide immediate access to important performance information, including EQ and Stems parameters, Mixer FX selections, and master output levels. The controller's light guide also communicates useful track information, including when a track is nearing its end or running in a loop, while customizable ambient lighting and button colors make different functions easier to identify.
Dedicated Stems controls work with Traktor Pro 4's separation technology to manipulate vocals, drums, bass, and other musical elements independently. Mixer FX can also be applied directly from the hardware with one-knob control of nine software effects, including Filter, Reverb, Dual Delay, Noise, Time Gater, Flanger, Crush, Dotted Delay, and Barber Pole.
The integrated 24-bit/96 kHz audio interface provides stereo RCA and 3.5mm master outputs along with a dedicated 3.5mm headphone output for low-latency cue monitoring. USB bus power and a compact 12.7-inch-wide chassis make the Z1 MK2 especially useful for mobile DJs, travel setups, home mixing, and modular Traktor systems paired with additional controllers.
