At the core of the interface are two newly redesigned MAX-HD mic preamps that provide up to 75 dB of gain. These digitally controlled analog preamps are designed to offer transparent, low-noise operation, making them especially useful with a wide range of microphones, including gain-hungry dynamic models. Bright LED metering and an illuminated push encoder make it easier to monitor and adjust levels directly from the hardware.
