RF Venue DFINBD9 Description

The RF Venue DFINBD9 combines RF Venue's patented Diversity Fin antenna with the DISTRO9 HDR to provide dependable antenna distribution for wireless microphone systems with as many as nine diversity receivers. The Diversity Fin uses an orthogonal arrangement consisting of a directional LPDA and a bidirectional dipole, allowing one element to receive vertically polarized RF while the other receives horizontally polarized RF. This polarization-diversity approach helps reduce multipath-related signal fades as microphone and bodypack orientation changes.

The included DFINB version of the Diversity Fin is designed for permanent installation and includes a black wall-mount bracket. Its 470–698 MHz operating range supports professional UHF wireless microphone systems, while two BNC outputs provide the separate diversity feeds required by the DISTRO9 HDR. The antenna's passive design provides a straightforward, durable solution for installed AV environments without requiring active electronics at the antenna.

The DISTRO9 HDR provides nine low-noise diversity RF outputs plus two diversity input zones in a single rack-space chassis. Its 50–1000 MHz operating range supports a broad selection of wireless microphone frequency bands, while high-dynamic-range circuitry and carefully controlled gain structure are designed to distribute RF without unnecessarily compromising signal integrity. DC power can also be supplied over coax to compatible active antennas or inline RF devices.

For rack organization, the DISTRO9 HDR supplies 12V DC at up to 5A through its Anderson PowerPole output, allowing the included power distribution kit to power compatible wireless receivers without individual wall-mounted power supplies. The bundle also includes two 25-foot RG8X antenna cables plus ten 1.5-foot and ten 2-foot BNC interconnect cables, providing the RF cabling required for a complete nine-channel installation.
