The Samson DE60x combines a discreet headset design with a miniature back-electret condenser capsule for speech and vocal applications where clear reproduction and dependable positioning are important. Its 50Hz to 18kHz frequency response supports natural vocal detail, while its 135dB maximum SPL allows it to accommodate energetic performers and high-output voices.

The unidirectional cardioid pickup pattern emphasizes sound arriving from the front of the microphone while rejecting sound from the rear. This makes the DE60x well suited to live stages, presentations, theater productions, fitness instruction, broadcast work, and other environments where reducing surrounding sound and feedback is beneficial.
