Samson Expedition XP310w K Description
The Samson Expedition XP310w K delivers an all-in-one sound reinforcement solution for performers, instructors, presenters, DJs, and mobile event applications. Its 2-way loudspeaker system combines a 10-inch woofer with a 1-inch tweeter, powered by a lightweight Class-D amplifier delivering 300W peak output. A frequency response of 50 Hz to 18 kHz provides coverage for music, vocals, and spoken-word applications.
A top-mounted 4-channel mixer provides convenient access to the system's audio controls. The XP310w includes an XLR-1/4-inch combo mic/line input, 3.5mm stereo auxiliary input, Bluetooth connectivity, and a USB wireless port. Independent channel level controls, master bass and treble EQ, variable reverb, and voiceover priority ducking provide useful control for performances and presentations. A 1/4-inch line output can also be used to connect an additional sound system.
The included Concert 88a handheld wireless system gives performers and presenters cable-free operation in the 470-494 MHz K frequency band. The system supports up to a 100 ft. (30 m) line-of-sight operating range. An additional Concert 88a receiver slot allows a second compatible wireless system to be installed, while the USB wireless port can accommodate a compatible Samson XPD Series system.
Built for portable use, the XP310w features a rugged polypropylene enclosure with a steel grille, locking telescoping handle, and smooth-rolling wheels. Its internal rechargeable lithium-ion battery provides up to 12 hours of continuous operation, making the system well suited for locations where convenient AC power may not be available. A 1-3/8-inch pole mount receptacle also allows placement on a standard speaker stand.
