Samson SARETRACK is a compact passive reamplification DI box designed for guitarists, bassists, engineers, and studio musicians who need to send recorded signals back through amplifiers or effects. With an XLR/TRS combo input, 1/4 in instrument output, amp volume control, source selection, and ground lift, it makes reamping workflows easier in studio and live production environments.
The Samson SARETRACK Retrack is designed to simplify reamping for guitars, basses, and other instrument tracks. It allows users to take a recorded signal from an audio interface, mixer, USB audio converter, laptop, or headphone output and send it to an external amplifier or effects unit for new tones during recording or mixing.
The main input uses a combo XLR/1/4 in TRS connector, giving engineers flexible connection options from balanced or unbalanced line-level sources. A source toggle lets the unit accept either a standard mono line output or a stereo headphone output, making it especially convenient for smaller interfaces where speaker outputs may already be in use.
On the output side, the SARETRACK provides a 1/4 in TS instrument-level output for connection to guitar amps, bass amps, pedals, and other instrument-level devices. The rotary amp volume control lets users fine-tune the level being sent to the amplifier for proper headroom and response.
Built as part of Samson’s S-Max signal box line, the Samson SARETRACK uses a durable all-metal 14-gauge steel chassis to protect its controls and internal components. With no power required and a ground-lift switch for hum reduction, it is a reliable reamping tool for project studios, professional rooms, and mobile recording setups.
