The sE Electronics V8 Graphite Gray features a newly designed premium DMCV8 capsule developed to capture the voice with exceptional clarity and natural detail. Its extended 25 Hz–21 kHz frequency response helps produce an open, balanced vocal sound designed to feel polished and “finished” even before EQ is applied.
A tight supercardioid polar pattern focuses pickup on the performer while rejecting unwanted sound arriving from off-axis positions. This provides strong vocal isolation in live environments and supports excellent gain-before-feedback, making the V8 well suited for loud stages and situations where monitor and instrument bleed need to be controlled.
The microphone uses a neodymium magnet and aluminum voice coil with a sensitivity of 2.2 mV/Pa (-53 dBV) and an electrical impedance of 300 ohms. Its standard 3-pin male XLR connection integrates easily with professional mixers, audio interfaces, stage boxes, and other microphone-level equipment.
