Shure ULXD2/SM58 G50 Description

The Shure ULXD2/SM58 G50 delivers professional digital wireless performance in a durable handheld format. It is designed for use with compatible ULX-D Digital Wireless receivers and incorporates an integrated single-band helical antenna for streamlined operation.

The included SM58 cartridge provides the proven cardioid vocal performance widely used for live vocals and speech. The transmitter also accepts interchangeable compatible Shure microphone cartridges, allowing the system to be adapted to different performers and applications without replacing the complete transmitter.

AES 256-bit encryption is available when secure wireless transmission is required, while Shure Gain Ranging automatically optimizes the system's dynamic range for the input source. A backlit LCD provides access to transmitter settings and status information, and frequency and power lockout functions help prevent unintended changes during an event.

The machined aluminum housing is designed to withstand demanding professional environments. Power can be supplied by compatible Shure SB900-series rechargeable lithium-ion batteries or standard AA batteries, making the ULXD2 suitable for touring productions, corporate events, theaters, houses of worship, and installed sound systems.
