Yamaha DXR10MKIII Description

The Yamaha DXR10MKIII is the most compact model in the DXR mk3 series, offering a strong balance of portability, output, and control. It uses a 10-inch low-frequency driver and a 1.75-inch high-frequency compression driver in a 2-way bi-amped bass-reflex design, making it well suited for mobile DJs, live bands, venues, houses of worship, corporate AV, and fixed installations that need professional sound in a smaller footprint.

Yamaha equips the DXR10MKIII with a newly developed 2000W Class-D amplifier and 96 kHz internal DSP processing for high output and refined sonic performance. FIR-X tuning combines linear-phase FIR filtering with corrective EQ for smooth crossover performance and reduced phase distortion, while Drive Motion Calibration helps produce more linear and reliable low-frequency response. The result is a speaker that delivers clarity, precision, and controlled coverage across a wide frequency range.

The enclosure is made from lightweight, high-performance molded polypropylene and features a symmetrical design that supports flexible placement. A dual-angle pole socket allows either a 0-degree or -7-degree down tilt, and the cabinet can also be used as a floor monitor with a 55-degree monitor angle. Rigging points for eye bolts and compatibility with the optional UB-DXRDHR10A U-bracket expand installation options for permanent or semi-permanent setups.

For added flexibility, the speaker includes DSP modes for FOH/MAIN, MONITOR, DJ, LIVE MUSIC, SPEECH, and OFF, along with AUTO V/H POSITION for automatic mode adjustment based on speaker orientation.
