Yamaha PX10 Description

The Yamaha PX10 combines high output power with intelligent signal processing in a durable 2U chassis. Designed around a newly developed Class D amplifier engine with a custom LSI chip and PLL technology, it is made to provide strong performance while keeping weight down and maintaining excellent efficiency. This makes it a strong choice for mobile sound systems, fixed installations, and studio monitoring applications that demand dependable amplification.

Beyond raw power, the PX10 includes a sophisticated DSP section that helps users optimize system performance without needing additional outboard processors. Built-in functions include parametric EQ, crossover, high-pass and low-pass filters, delay, limiter control, and Yamaha’s D-CONTOUR multi-band dynamic processing for front-of-house and monitor use. Speaker presets for Yamaha passive loudspeakers further simplify setup and system matching.

The amplifier is also designed to be approachable for users at different experience levels. Basic mode speeds up setup for straightforward applications, while Advanced mode provides deeper control over routing, gain, sensitivity, impedance, and processing parameters.
