Behringer SD8 Description

The Behringer SD8 provides flexible and high-performance audio distribution in a rugged, portable format. Equipped with 8 Midas-designed mic preamps, it ensures pristine audio capture with remote control capability when paired with compatible digital mixers. With dual AES50 ports powered by Klark Teknik’s SuperMAC technology, the SD8 delivers ultra-low latency and jitter-free audio transmission over standard CAT5e cables. You can easily cascade multiple units for expanded channel counts without the need for additional routers or mergers, simplifying large system setups.

The built-in ULTRANET hub allows direct connection to Behringer P16-M personal monitoring mixers, giving performers control over their own monitor mixes. Additionally, the SD8 supports ULTRANET-enabled Turbosound speakers, making it a versatile hub for both monitoring and speaker integration.

Housed in a rugged all-steel chassis with included rack ears and protective bumpers, the SD8 is equally suited for permanent installations and life on the road. Its compact footprint and durable design ensure dependable performance in demanding environments.
