The Behringer SD16 is engineered to bring inputs and outputs closer to the performance area while maintaining full remote control from compatible digital consoles. It features 16 Midas-designed mic preamps, including 2 Hi-Z compatible inputs for direct connection of guitars or basses, making it a versatile solution for both band and installed sound applications.

With 8 servo-balanced XLR outputs and dual AES50 networking ports, the SD16 enables high-quality digital audio transmission over shielded CAT5e cable with low latency and minimal jitter, thanks to Klark Teknik SuperMAC technology. Multiple stage boxes can be cascaded easily without requiring additional routing hardware.

A standout feature of the SD16 is its integrated 4-port ULTRANET distribution hub, allowing direct connection of up to four Behringer P16-M personal monitoring mixers without the need for external distribution units. It also supports digital audio and control connectivity for compatible Turbosound speaker systems.
