JTS ST-850 Description

The JTS ST-850 is a dual-mode microphone base designed to streamline audio installations. It supports both wireless and wired gooseneck microphone setups, automatically switching between modes based on the connection type — no toggle or switch required. When used wirelessly, the ST-850 draws power from compatible JTS transmitters like the PT-900B, PT-850B, PT-920B (G), PT-950B, and PT-990B. In this configuration, it functions as a mute switch. For wired setups, simply connect the ST-850 to a standard mic cable with phantom power, and it operates as a conventional base with an on/off switch. The ST-850 houses a supercardioid back electret condenser microphone element, offering excellent directionality and clarity for speech applications. Its rugged build and professional-grade connectors make it a reliable solution for fixed installations.
