Juice Goose CQ1515 Description

The Juice Goose CQ1515 brings intelligent power control to rack-mounted systems requiring up to 15 amps of current. Designed for front-of-house, AV, or control system use, it allows multiple devices to power on and off in a managed sequence — protecting equipment and reducing inrush current loads. The unit includes six sequenced NEMA 5/15R outlets and one unswitched outlet on the rear panel. Each pair of outlets (called a Power Pod) activates in order, with delay timing customizable via internal DIP switches. This makes the CQ1515 ideal for powering signal processors first, then amplifiers or other high-draw equipment later. Installation is flexible: the CQ1515 can act as a standalone device, be controlled via contact closure, or be linked to other Juice Goose CQ units using RJ-45 control cables. Its LED indicators provide clear real-time feedback on both sequencing and surge protection status. Reliable surge protection is provided by a triple MOV system across line and neutral with no ground contamination, offering 300 joules of protection and easy replacement if needed.
