LD Systems LDS-LDMAILASUB Description

The LD Systems LDS-LDMAILASUB is built around a planar wave bandpass design with quarter-wave horn technology and symmetrical driver construction. By positioning the two 15" neodymium woofers opposite each other, the cabinet achieves exceptional impulse compensation, delivering a tight, powerful, and controlled low-frequency punch ideal for bands, DJs, and live production environments.

Powered by an integrated 2-channel Class D amplifier producing 2,500W RMS, the subwoofer reaches peak SPL levels up to 137 dB. The newly developed SysCore® DSP provides advanced audio processing including fully parametric 10-band EQ, delay line, presets, and cardioid configurations for reduced rear sound radiation. With a low-frequency extension down to 33 Hz (-6 dB), it delivers deep and authoritative bass performance.

Four large bass reflex ports optimize airflow and reduce turbulence, improving efficiency and minimizing unwanted noise. The enclosure is constructed from rugged 18 mm birch multiplex plywood and finished with a durable polyurea coating, making it suitable for demanding road use. Six integrated handles ensure secure handling during setup and teardown.

With integrated Bluetooth® 5.0 and LogoLink® technology, wireless antennas are discreetly built into the LD logo, allowing seamless connection to the free MAILA app (iPadOS) for remote configuration and system updates. The sub includes dual docking plates for vertical or horizontal integration with compatible MAILA components, offering flexible deployment options for scalable sound systems.
