LD Systems MAILA S is a compact yet extremely powerful 7.6 kW active stereo line array system combining ground stack subwoofer performance with scalable array technology. Designed for mobile DJs, live bands, corporate events, and installed applications, it delivers extended low-frequency response down to 34 Hz and precise line array coverage up to 20 kHz.

This complete stereo configuration includes dual 2x15" bandpass subwoofers, six MAILA SAT array satellites, and two MAILA SPA amplifier modules—providing a flexible, professional-grade solution for high-impact sound reinforcement.

LD Systems MAILA S Description

The LD Systems MAILA S system combines advanced acoustic design with intelligent DSP control to deliver a high-performance stereo PA in a compact footprint. Each stereo side consists of one MAILA SUB 2x15" bandpass subwoofer with cardioid capability, one MAILA SPA amplifier module, and three MAILA SAT line array satellites.

The 2,500 W RMS 2x15" subwoofer utilizes a bandpass design for powerful, controlled low-frequency output with a low-frequency limit of 33 Hz (-6 dB). With up to 137 dB peak SPL (half space), it provides deep, punchy bass suitable for festivals, DJ performances, and live music reinforcement.

The MAILA SAT satellites feature Advanced WaveAhead® technology, placing five 1" tweeters in front of a 6.5" midrange driver in a coaxial arrangement with SonicGuide® waveguides. This produces a classic 100° horizontal dispersion with adjustable vertical coverage (8°–24° depending on array configuration). An integrated passive membrane extends low-mid performance down to 100 Hz despite the compact aluminium enclosure.

Each satellite includes the patented EasySplay® mechanism, allowing continuous angle adjustment from 0° to 8° with one hand—even under load. SmartLink+® technology enables cable-free signal and power transmission between amplifier and satellites for streamlined setup.

The MAILA SPA amplifier module features integrated SysCore® DSP with fully parametric 10-band EQ, delay, and presets. Control is available directly on the unit or wirelessly via the MAILA Quick Setup App (iPadOS). With LogoLink® technology, wireless antennas are integrated into the LD logo for clean aesthetics and stable Bluetooth® connectivity up to 30 meters under practical conditions.

Whether deployed as a ground stack system using the included MAILA DB speaker poles or configured for flown applications via the integrated EasyMount+® bracket, MAILA S provides scalable flexibility for conferences, corporate events, festivals, and live performances.
