The LD Systems MON 15 A G3 is part of a newly developed family of powered stage monitors created for professional-level performance in a more accessible format. It combines premium monitor design concepts with practical everyday usability, featuring a 2-way coaxial speaker system with a 15-inch woofer and a 1-inch HF driver with 1.75-inch titanium diaphragm voice coil. This layout helps achieve true point-source behavior for focused, natural monitoring on stage.
With 300 watts RMS, 1200 watts peak power, and a maximum SPL of 129 dB, the MON 15 A G3 is designed to keep up with loud band stages while still maintaining detail and control. The frequency response reaches down to 48 Hz (-10 dB), giving it impressive low-end presence for a compact monitor of this type, which makes it especially effective for drum fill applications or standalone compact PA use without an additional subwoofer in some situations.
Its onboard DynX® DSP (Gen.2) provides distortion-free sound even at high output levels and includes useful sound-shaping tools such as a 3-band EQ, notch filter, delay line, and four application presets. These features help users tailor the speaker for different stage positions, performers, and room conditions while maintaining reliable sonic performance.
The cabinet is built for regular live use with a rugged Polyurea coating, aluminium front grille, and birch multiplex/MDF construction.
