The LD Systems U504.7 HHD2 brings professional-grade wireless technology to live sound applications with a robust, user-friendly design. Operating in the 470–490 MHz band (USA only), this system features true diversity reception to minimize dropouts and ensure stable signal transmission, even in crowded RF environments. Each handheld transmitter uses a cardioid dynamic capsule with a 60 Hz – 16 kHz frequency response, making it well-suited for vocals and speech. With 96 selectable channels across 8 groups, multiple systems can operate simultaneously without interference. The switchable RF power output (2, 10, or 30 mW) offers flexibility for various venue sizes, with a range exceeding 100 meters in open spaces. OLED displays on both the receiver and handheld units clearly show battery life, group/channel info, frequency, and signal strength. Setup is fast and efficient thanks to IR sync and auto channel scanning, while the pilot tone squelch circuit adds fail-safe operation by rejecting unwanted signals. Housed in a rugged 19” rack-mountable chassis, the receiver provides both balanced XLR and unbalanced TS outputs for each channel, as well as mix outputs and a headphone jack for direct monitoring.
