Minuit Une IVL Dice is a compact laser-based volumetric beam fixture engineered to create immersive, geometric lighting environments in small and mid-sized venues. With four independent motorized tilts and wide 90° aperture coverage per tilt, it fills stages and dance floors with evolving beams, smooth motion, and vivid RGB color from a remarkably small footprint.
Designed for installations where traditional moving head beam setups are impractical, IVL Dice delivers large-scale spatial effects without requiring extensive truss, quantity, or power.
The Minuit Une IVL Dice sets a new scale for volumetric lighting by combining compact dimensions with wide spatial output. Measuring just 384 x 384 x 238 mm and weighing 10.6 kg (22 lbs), this 200W fixture is designed for effortless installation in venues where space and rigging capacity are limited.
Instead of a traditional moving head, IVL Dice uses four closely arranged motorized mirrors to create four independent light planes. Each tilt provides up to 84° linear aperture (90° class coverage) and operates with 16-bit non-linear resolution for extremely smooth slow movements and fast transitions—switching from mirror to frost output in just 0.25 seconds. The result is evolving geometric beam structures that make a room feel larger and more immersive.
The electronic gobo system allows selection from 9 beam patterns, generating 1, 2, 4, 8, 16, 32, 64, 128, or up to 256 beams. Lighting designers can control beam size, indexing, and rotation, while each tilt features two independent dimmers and two RGB controls for layered color and intensity shaping. A dedicated shutter provides pulse frequency and duration control for strobe effects.
The frost side of each tilt introduces soft volumetric illumination capable of highlighting walls, ceilings, and stage elements. When tilts are flattened, static frosted edges expand creative possibilities further, blending structured beams with ambient glow.
Built with a modular plug-and-play design, IVL Dice allows fast replacement of main modules, supporting long service life and simplified touring maintenance. Optical components are isolated from haze for reduced cleaning needs, while the fixture operates using thermo-electric cooling for stable laser performance.
Classified as a Class 3R laser product under IEC 60825-1 standards, the fixture incorporates a certified fail-safe 360° scanning system and extended source design for safe operation in professional environments.
