NovaStar MX20 Description

The NovaStar MX20 integrates video processing and LED display control into a compact, rackmountable chassis. Its six Gigabit Ethernet outputs provide a combined loading capacity of up to 3.9 million pixels, making the controller suitable for LED video walls used in live productions, broadcast environments, corporate AV systems, and permanent installations.

Two HDMI 1.3 inputs and one 3G-SDI input accommodate common professional video sources, while dedicated HDMI and SDI loop-through connections simplify signal distribution to additional equipment. Three independent layers provide flexible content arrangement, and each layer supports multiple scaling modes for adapting sources to the LED canvas.

Dual 10G optical outputs provide high-bandwidth connectivity for compatible fiber-based LED systems. The MX20 also includes Genlock synchronization, dual Ethernet control ports, an RS232 auxiliary connection, and an SPDIF digital audio output that can carry audio from an HDMI input source.

The 19-inch-wide, 1U chassis is designed for rack or desktop installation. Front-panel controls and NovaStar VMP software provide access to setup, monitoring, display management, and other system functions.
