The ProX XS SLAM18U24 combines an 18U vertical rack frame with a shock-absorbing suspension system engineered to reduce the transfer of vibration and impact to installed equipment. Four internal shock mounts suspend the rack frame inside the reinforced outer shell, helping protect amplifiers, signal processors, power distribution equipment, and other sensitive electronics during transport.

The internal rack rails provide 24 inches of front-to-rear mounting depth. An additional 4 inches of space between the rack and rear door provides clearance for cable connections, power cords, and components with extended rear panels. Equipment can remain installed, connected, and ready for operation without being removed from the case.

Front and rear sliding slam doors provide quick access to the rack while reducing the handling associated with traditional detachable lids. The laminated birch plywood shell, reinforced aluminum edges, and recessed heavy-duty handles provide the structural strength required for touring, studio, broadcast, and professional AV environments.
