RCF KXM 20A Description
The RCF KXM 20A is engineered for performers, engineers, rental providers, and production companies that need a compact active monitor with high output and precise coverage. Its symmetrical transducer design helps maintain consistent voicing across the listening area, making it useful for vocals, instruments, playback, and full-range stage monitoring.
The low-frequency section uses two 8-inch neodymium woofers with 2.5-inch voice coils for punch, efficiency, and high power handling. High frequencies are handled by a neodymium compression driver with a 3-inch voice coil, loaded through RCF’s True Resistive Waveguide for controlled projection and reduced high-frequency distortion.
Advanced onboard DSP includes FiRPHASE for phase coherence and imaging, along with Bass Motion Control to extend low-frequency performance while maintaining woofer stability. The KX DSP platform provides the processing power needed for real-time control, protection, and optimized loudspeaker behavior in real-world stage conditions.
The RCF KXM 20A is housed in a reinforced Baltic birch plywood cabinet with internal bracing, a heavy-duty steel grille, and a low-profile wedge geometry designed for daily touring use. A 35 mm pole mount also allows the monitor to serve as a controlled point source for portable FOH or fill applications when needed.
