Its DMC7 dynamic capsule features a specialized aluminum voice coil and supercardioid polar pattern designed to reproduce vocals naturally while reducing pickup from surrounding instruments and stage noise.

The focused supercardioid pattern helps provide strong gain before feedback, making the capsule particularly useful on loud stages and in monitor-intensive environments. A 40 Hz to 19 kHz frequency response covers the essential vocal range with detailed highs and controlled low-frequency reproduction, while the capsule provides a sensitivity of 2 mV/Pa.

For demanding live use, the V7 MC1 features an all-metal zinc-alloy chassis and a durable spring-steel mesh grille.
