Wharfedale Pro WLA-28X Description

The Wharfedale Pro WLA-28X builds on the performance of the original WLA-28, offering refined acoustic performance and improved durability for demanding professional environments. Its dual 8-inch LF drivers and high-performance HF compression driver deliver clear, balanced sound across the listening area.

The system supports both passive and bi-amp operation, allowing users to configure the array based on amplifier and system requirements. With 400W continuous LF power handling and up to 1600W peak, the WLA-28X delivers strong output for medium to large-scale sound reinforcement applications.

The cabinet is constructed from 15 mm and 18 mm birch plywood and finished in black Tough-Tone coating. Integrated rigging with 3-point mounting allows for flown arrays or ground-stacked configurations, making it suitable for rental companies, venues, and installation projects.
