Yamaha DXR12 MKII Description

The Yamaha DXR12 MKII takes the renowned DXR Series to the next level with more output, reduced weight, and upgraded high-frequency components. At its heart is a powerful 1100W Class-D amplifier pushing a 12" woofer and 1.75" neodymium HF compression driver, producing up to 134dB SPL with high-definition audio across a 52Hz–20kHz range. Built in collaboration with NEXO, the DXR MKII benefits from advanced digital signal processing and FIR-X tuning™ for smooth crossover, time alignment, and dynamic control. The D-CONTOUR multi-band compressor optimizes EQ in real-time for consistent output, whether you're using the speaker in FOH mode or as a floor monitor. Onboard is a 3-channel mixer with flexible mic and line inputs, volume controls for each channel, and mix/link outputs for daisy-chaining. The speaker includes switchable HPF settings (100Hz or 120Hz) to integrate cleanly with Yamaha DXS subwoofers or other low-end reinforcement systems. The rugged ABS enclosure features a symmetrical design for mirror-mode monitoring, dual-angle pole mount for directional control, and multiple rigging points for permanent installations. It's a powerful yet portable solution for bands, DJs, rental systems, corporate AV, and more.
